The 1975 is our largest capacity and most popular offset smoker, showcasing a 24" diameter, 48 inches of cooking space, and a full 3/8" (.375") wall American made pipe, the thickest in the industry. Showcasing the outstanding performance that Workhorse Pits is celebrated for, the 1975 can masterfully cook six briskets, or twelve Boston butts (depending on size of the proteins), while it’s precise engineering ensures even burning with a healthy coal bed.

The 1975 is great for large family gatherings, BBQ competitions, or small commercial catering, and is the solution to elevate your cooking game.

Designed with computational fluid dynamics, you can expect the 1975 to run plus or minus five degrees across the chamber with the proper ember base. Workhorse Pits has built a reputation of unbeatable performance, exceptional craftsmanship, ease of use, and excellent results in BBQ. Featuring the popular raw linseed oil coating for exterior finish makes the 1975 both stylish, sturdy and easy to maintain for a lifetime.

Crafted with 3/8" thick wall American made pipe and mounted on our 6" proprietary casters, this powerful smoker can deliver great BBQ without taking up too much patio space.

The 1975 comes available to ride on our proprietary 2400lb capacity casters or a single spine wagon package and features two configurations (see the two options below) to offer seamless mobility. The 1975 is coated with a raw linseed oil which allows you to keep your 1975 looking brand new throughout a lifetime, or many lifetimes. (NOTE: every Workhorse Pit is built with US milled pipe and may have scratches or “character marks” from being moved in the pipe yard, transported and/or tooling. This is why it is called a “raw finish.”)
